Evangelical Reformed Church of St. Gallen

“Close to God – close to the people” is the motto of the Evangelical Reformed Church of the canton of St. Gallen. “Close to God”: we are guided by the biblical message in what we say and do. We count ourselves among the churches that emerged from the Reformation, which were renewed then and constantly need to be renewed anew. We live our faith in diversity and solidarity, ecumenically and self-critically, and with an openness to new ideas. “Close to the people”: as a church we are close to people – of all generations and in all situations. The church is a stronghold – also in society – where people find guidance, strength and support in all life situations.
